A Comparative Analysis of Tensor Decomposition Models Using Hyper Spectral Image
نویسندگان
چکیده
Hyper spectral imaging is a remote sensing technology, providing variety of applications such as material identification, space object identification, planetary exploitation etc. It deals with capturing continuum of images of the earth surface from different angles. Due to the multidimensional nature of the image, multi-way arrays are one of the possible solutions for analyzing hyper spectral data. This multi-way array is called tensor. Our approach deals with implementing three decomposition models LMLRA, BTD and CPD to the sample data for choosing the best decomposition of the data set. The results have proved that Block Term Decomposition (BTD) is the best tensor model for decomposing the hyper spectral image in to resultant factor matrices.

Efficient Target Detection from Hyperspectral Images Based On Removal of Signal Independent and Signal Dependent Noise
In our proposed system the random noise present in hyper spectral image is removed by means of tensor based decomposition methods. The noises present in hyper spectral images are classified into two categories namely: signal independent noise and signal dependent noise. The noises present in the hyper spectral images have dependence on the noise variance of the signal. The input image is separa...
متن کاملBiologically-inspired data decorrelation for hyper-spectral imaging
Hyper-spectral data allows the construction of more robust statistical models to sample the material properties than the standard tri-chromatic color representation. However, because of the large dimensionality and complexity of the hyper-spectral data, the extraction of robust features (image descriptors) is not a trivial issue. Thus, to facilitate efficient feature extraction, decorrelation t...
متن کاملSliding Window Recursive HAPCA for 3D Image Decomposition
The famous method Principal Components Analysis (PCA) is the basic approach for decomposition of 3D tensor images (for example, multiand hyper-spectral, multi-view, computer tomography, video, etc.). As a result of the processing, their information redundancy is significantly reduced. This is of high importance for the efficient compression and for the reduction of the features space needed, wh...
متن کاملA simple form of MT impedance tensor analysis to simplify its decomposition to remove the effects of near surface small-scale 3-D conductivity structures
Magnetotelluric (MT) is a natural electromagnetic (EM) technique which is used for geothermal, petroleum, geotechnical, groundwater and mineral exploration. MT is also routinely used for mapping of deep subsurface structures. In this method, the measured regional complex impedance tensor (Z) is substantially distorted by any topographical feature or small-scale near-surface, three-dimensional (...

In this paper, with due respect to the original data and based on the extraction of new features by smaller dimensions, a new feature reduction technique is proposed for Hyper-Spectral data classification. For each pixel of a Hyper-Spectral image, a specific rational function approximation is developed to fit its own spectral response curve (SRC) and the coefficients of the numerator and denomi...
